As with all other things, technology follows certain trends and cellular phone technology is no different. Voice ringtones are one of the latest trends in cell phone technology; it used to be something that was unheard of, but voice ringtones sound like actual real people, whether the voice ringtone in question maybe a recording of a speech, a song, or a clip from a movie or television show.

Voice ringtones are not usually pre programmed into any of the cell phones that are sold through cellular phone service providers. Voice ringtones are great because they cut the silence better than any other type of ringtone out there; they will definitely have you aware of the fact that your phone is ringing, but on the flip side voice ringtones do take up a lot of the memory space in your phone. This memory space is often better used for other things, like pictures in the camera for those camera phone enthusiasts, so needless to say voice ringtones are not always worth it for everyone.

Voice ringtones can be downloaded for free off of one of the free ringtone sites, or you can download them from your wireless service provider. The latter option usually costs a bit of money but the quality is usually better, so if quality is important to you then you might want to cough up the two or three bucks if you have it to spare.

Usually they just add the amount of your ringtone to your wireless bill, but beware of this as this is a notorious way of acquiring a phone bill that you just can not seem to handle. This is easy to do with downloads, so be sure no to get addicted to voice ringtone downloading, as it can be very easy to do so. If you are going to download a lot of voice ringtones, be sure to find a free website that you can use often and enough to satisfy your need to download, as your phone company will not be quick to erase large charges of voice ringtone downloads, or screensaver or game downloads either.
